Set amidst lush green gardens with colourful decor and landscaping, the resort offers the comfort of 3 deluxe varieties of accommodation, fresh water pool, great dining and entertainment options, friendly service and of course the best diving in the Caribbean – 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Habitat’s wide range of accommodation will match your vacation desires. All rooms are decorated in a light island style for a relaxing, breezy atmosphere and include daily maid and linen services. Diving Capt. Don’s Habitat Dive Operation is centrally located within the resort complex for easy access from all rooms. They have three 1-tank boat departures daily and scheduled boat night dives to over 70 moored sights on custom built diveboats. Each mooring buoy is limited to 1 boat so you’ll have the reef all to yourself. Total diving freedom has always been the concept at Capt. Don’s Habitat. Over 50 world class dives are within a 15 minute boat ride. Diving freedom means 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with no rush or anxiety. Take a giant stride off the resort’s divers-only pier “baby dock” and you’re already looking at clusters of starlet coral, surrounded by colourful wrasse and gobies and the drop-off starts at 30 feet, only a few kicks away. Shore diving is a must at Habitat and around the island of Bonaire is rated as the top shore diving destination in the world! Following accepted safe diving practices, you can grab a tank and go….whenever you want! The Habitat Dive Operation is not only a PADI 5-star Instructor Development Centre, but also a NAUI Dream Resort, SSI Referral facility, and TDI/SDI Instruction Centre equipped to handle all of your certification needs including Rebreathers and Tri-Mix. Choose from over 20 specialty courses! All necessary equipment is available for rental or sale in the Captain’s Locker, which also has those last minute items you may have forgotten. Exposures Photo Centre provides guests with a full selection of the latest in photo and video equipment for rent or sale, personalized instruction, film processing, and private photo shoots. It’s also a fun place to hang out and “talk photo” with the friendly photo pros. The Dive Centre also rents Trek 820 Mountain Bikes and Ocean Kayaks for the adventurous.
