Each accommodation is spacious, cool and comfortable. Those seeking activities may hire bikes, windsurfers, go snorkelling, fishing or horseback riding, amongst various excursions including Jonzi Forest (one of the last remaining sanctuaries of the red colobus monkey), Prison Island (a unique combination of giant tortoises and Arab ruins) and the famous Island Spice Tour.

Diving

Diving in resort can be accommodated at the nearby 5 star PADI Resort just along the beach from the resort. With many popular sites experienced scuba divers can enjoy exciting wall dives, night dives and drift dives. In deeper waters, lush coral gardens often stretch as far as the eye can see, and large pelagic gamefish (barracuda, kingfish, tuna and wahoo) hunt together with large Napoleonic wrasse, graceful manta rays and sharks. Shallower waters are the play ground of tropical fish, including a huge variety of Indo-Pacific marine fauna.

Some of Zanzibar’s best diving is to be found on the north coast. Explore the many popular dive sites including Nankivel, a large coral head, Leon’s wall – a superb wall dive with several caves and humpback whales in September and Kichwani, a nice shallow drop off with big fan coral and schools of dolphins, snappers, sweet lips and big-eyes. Diving in Zanzibar is ideal for novices and experts alike..
