Truk Stop Hotel

Truk Stop Hotel

The island of Truk offers something unique to the diving fraternity with a 100 kilometre diameter graveyard of nearly 70 coral-draped Japanese battleships and countless aircraft sunk by the American naval air attacks during World War II. This graveyard and underwater museum offers the chance of a lifetime for spectacular diving in warm, relatively clear and current free waters offering diving for both beginners and experts. It is a truly memorable experience.

The Truk Stop hotel offers a variety of accommodation easily accessible to all major dive sites. Set within a lagoon, this small and friendly 23-bed hotel offers clean and comfortable surroundings along with an award winning restaurant offering excellent cuisine and personal service. There is a patio adjacent to the restaurant and to add to their excellent service, there is also a bakery and gift shop.

Facilities also include free WiFi internet and cable TV, as well as seminar rooms. There is also the ‘Body Shop’ – their in-house massage therapist is available to give massages 7 days a week from 8am-9pm! The hotel is close to Weno Island, the port and various local establishments, including their own Hard Wreck Café and Bar – known as the islands premier watering hole.
