Mount TeideThis beautiful island is located 200 miles off the West African coast in the Atlantic Ocean. At just over 2000 square kilometres, Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands. It boasts the highest mountain in the whole of Spain, Mount Teide. Standing at an amazing 12,198 feet (3718 m), it is an impressive sight that dominates the landscape for miles. From the cloudscape vista a cable car will take you to the very tip of the mountain, almost four kilometres above sea level.

The island's splendid long sandy beaches with dark, soft volcanic sand and an unrivalled range of scenery make it one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world.

Playa de las Americas is a vibrant, lively resort located on the south side of the island. It is the home of an amazing seven beaches of black and gold sand, along with many shops, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and plenty of water sports opportunities.

Los Cristianos is perfect for families and couples looking for a base for an active holiday in the Canaries. As a quiet fishing village many years ago, this resort now has two splendid beaches on which daytime activity focuses. These beaches of Los Cristianos are perfect for water sports and also offer excursions for dolphin and whale watching. Although there is a definite buzz about the place in the evenings, the resort is quieter than its neighbour, Playa de las Americas. Los Cristianos is a modern resort in every sense, yet still retains a trace of its old-world fishing village charm.

The Canary Islands' most stunning new luxurious hotels and properties are situated in Costa Adeje. The atmosphere is more sedate and stylish than neighbouring Las Americas and combines to give the whole area a range of holiday options to suite all tastes. Costa Adeje has crystal-clear and pure seawater with a large number of dolphins and pilot whales that choose to play here.
