WHY WE LOVE IT

The beach is sandy and sloping for easy access to the sea, there you will find Rock Coral Knolls teeming with coral and marine Life.

Spend hours exploring the Marine Nature Reserve reefs, which are good for divers and snorkelers, and on top of all that there is the Eilat Underwater Observatory with some of the finest marine specimens in a natural environment. In the observatory there is also the rare opportunity to view marine life from a deep platform beneath the surface.

Another attraction is Eilat’s Dolphin Reef, where you can meet and swim with rescued Dolphins.

QUALITY DIVING INSTRUCTION

Aqua-Sport is a PADI 5* Gold Palm Centre, equipped with the most up to date scuba Equipment and the instructors are the finest professional instructors to be found anywhere. English is the second language of most of the instructors and they speak it well. At any time you will also find instructors speaking Italian, French, Russian and many other languages. Aqua-Sport also provide IAHD qualified instructors for people with disabilities.

Junior PADI qualifying courses can be taken in Eilat from the age of 12 and in Aqua-Sport Taba from the age of 10 .

There are a variety of courses offered at Aqua-Sport Eilat and Aqua-Sport Taba (see the table at the bottom of this page). In addition you can improve your skills with specialty courses.

LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION

Crusader Travel partner, Aqua-Sport, is close to many of Eilat’s hotels. For the student on a shoestring there is the beachside Divers Lodge with pleasant multi bedded rooms with en suite facilities. The club has a restaurant/bar Bedouin tent and is a great place for divers and their families.

By the way, Aqua Sport also runs the Taba dive club – just a short drive across the border.
