Day 1     Visit Arava Border – Wadi Rum – Petra

Arrival Arava Border, meet and then drive to Wadi Rum, “Vast echoing and God-like” is how Lawrence of Arabia described Wadi Rum. The largest and most magnificent of Jordan’s desert landscapes. Wadi Rum was inhabited in the prehistoric periods, continue to visit Desert Police Station, with their beautiful uniforms, with possibility to enjoy 2 hours trip with Jeeps to explore more of Wadi Rum. Transfer to Petra, Dinner & Overnight in Petra.

Day 2     Visit Petra

The young Swiss explorer, John Burkhardt, ‘discovered’ Petra in 1812. Petra, the rose-red city, the ancient capital of the Nabatean Empire. Petra dominated the caravan routes of the Middle East for four centuries before being absorbed into the Roman Empire in 106 AD. This morning you will enter the hidden city through the narrow, gorge-like ‘Siq’; Could have a horseback ride from the entrance see the Treasury, Roman Theatre,  and the courts, Temple of the Winged Lion and other sites.

Day 3     Visit Petra – Little Petra – Amman

After breakfast at your hotel in Petra, drive a short distance north of Petra to visit little Petra, famous for its oldest settlement in Jordan history going back to the Iron Age, little Petra has also small Siq and some other fascinating monuments including a small theatre after visit continue to drive via desert highway to Amman, panoramic visit of Amman. Transfer to Hotel. Dinner & overnight in Amman.

Day 4     Visit Amman – Jerash – Amman

After Breakfast, a sightseeing tour of ancient & modern Amman, Jordan’s capita. Visiting the national Museum, Citadel, and then drive north to about 45 KM. To Jerash one of the best preserved Roman Towns, with its magnificent colonnaded street, unique oval shape forum Triumphal Arch, build for the Emperor Hadrian you can see the Roman Cardo, and the 2 huge Temples of Zeus Return to Amman. Dinner & Overnight.

Day 5 – Visit Amman – Madaba – Mt. Nebo – Dead Sea – Aqaba

After Breakfast, Drive to Madaba to visit St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, which was rebuilt in 1897. The world of mosaic map by an unknown artists who worked in Madaba towards the middle of the Sixth Century AD, the oldest preserved and most detailed ancient map of the lands extending east and west of the River Jordan from Lebanon to Egypt, from the desert to the Mediterranean. Then drive Mt. Nebo is the memorial of the Prophet Moses. It has a Trefoil Church built in the 4th century AD and is famous for having been visited by the Pilgrim In the 5th century AD, a nave was added to the Trefoil Church. In the sixth century, around 530 AD, then drive to lowest point on earth to Dead Sea, time to swim and relax then drive to Aqaba. Dinner & Overnight in Aqaba.

Day 6     Visit Aqaba

Day 07     Transfer to Arava Border and return to Eilat

Price: normally £1,300, available for £513 per person – based on 2 people sharing, in 3* accommodation.
