Frankie's Gozo Diving Centre
Frankie's was chose to be opened in a village where space and property was not a problem rather then being located at the seafront where space was limited. It was built to offer all the services to the divers including accommodation, restaurants, special deep training pool, lecture rooms and all other facilities that one can think of for divers... a divers' complex with all the facilities in the same place. For 3 years in a row in 1998, 1999 and 2000, the prestigious diving magazine the Tauchen, honoured Frankie's with the Tauchen Trophy for THE BEST DIVE CENTRE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN. PADI also honoured them with the award for good diving courses with the PADI Education Award. A prestigious Spanish Filming Company also chose Frankie's for the Underwater Documentaries of the Mediterranean Dive Destinations.
Frankie's have a 'hoteldivers', a training pool that has been specially constructed for beginners' courses. Unlike normal pools, it has a flat bottom and two different depths, one of 1.5m and the deep end of 4.5m. This is the only pool of its kind on the island as the centre is not just a dive shop, but also a complex for divers. The Mariblu Guesthouse is part of the Frankie's Dive Centre Complex. Here one can stay in double rooms, on bed and breakfast or half board. Family suites, consisting of 2 separate bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and dining room are ideal for groups or families as here they can stay on bed & breakfast or even self-catering as these suites have a fully equipped kitchen and facilities. The restaurant, The Mariblu offers Italian and Traditional Local Cuisine, while their Pizzeria & Wine Bar is open all day. Pizzas as well as light snacks are served all day by the pool. Al fresco dinner is served and also, barbeques are organised by the pool for the divers. After the dives, one can relax and have a beer while making new friends and talking about their diving experiences and travel plans. It is just like a DIVERS' CLUB for a week or two and this is also what makes the centre different from others. |
Frankie's Gozo Diving Centre was established 20 years ago. At that time, diving equipment was still in its early days and during these years we have seen a lot of development in the diving equipment. 
Frankie's offer beginners' dives, all PADI diving courses, guided dives as well as unguided non-limit dive packages for the more experienced. Apart from the excellent shore dives, less frequented sites can be reached with any of their dive boats. For the less experienced or the total beginner, one could not find a safer, or more exciting places to learn to dive. Blue Waters Dive Cove

Blue Waters Dive Cove is a certified PADI dive centre in Gozo with a team of dynamic, young yet experienced instructors. All their rental equipment is brand new and the training facilities are excellent. They offer various dive packages, training courses, accompanied diving, boat dives and night dives. Their qualified instructors can guide you around the wonderful dive sites of Gozo or if you prefer you can rent equipment and they will be happy to offer you advice on how to best enjoy diving around this intriguing Island.
