Intercontinental Abu Soma facilities on offer include; a large, temperature controlled outdoor swimming pool with integrated children's pool, outdoor temperature controlled pool within the health club that also features a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, whirlpool and gym. The hotel also features water polo, 2 billiard tables, table tennis and a dive centre, outdoor children's play area, 24-hour room service, a shopping arcade including a beauty salon and a state of the art marina accommodating up to 60 boats. The InterConti Abu Soma offers a wide choice of restaurants including: Café Stella, the Hotel's main restaurant with a stunning pool view and outdoor seating, El Tannour providing Oriental Lebanese cuisine, Il Portico offering a taste of Italy and Kiriaco's - a premier Greek restaurant serving souvlaki, gyros and Ouzo plus various generous portions of fresh sea food. Snacks are available at the pool and beach bars and healthy refreshments can be found at the Health Club snack bar. |

An elegant, quality property with a high standard of service and facilities, featuring distinctive ancient temple style architecture, The Sheraton Soma Bay is built on a sandy beach on the Soma Bay peninsula. Each one of the 310 air-conditioned rooms and 35 suites has private facilities; balcony or terrace, satellite TV, telephone, safe, mini bar and hairdryer. Most of the suites are located on the beachfront. The Sheraton Soma Bay features 3 freshwater swimming pools (2 of which are temperature-controlled) with separate children's pool, diving centre offers full PADI courses and water sports include sailing (laser and catamaran), snorkelling trips, and more. Other leisure facilities include billiards, croquet, darts, table tennis, tennis and squash. Activities centre offering daily aerobics, aqua gym and stretching, a gymnasium, massage and sauna. Other facilities include; children's club available from 09.00-17.00 (minimum age 4), 24-hour room service, 2 shops, The Cascades golf course, designed by the Gary Player design group, is located in Soma Bay. Free transportation to and from the Clubhouse is provided. The newest addition to the facilities on offer to guests staying at the Sheraton is Les Thermes Marins Des Cascades Thalasso Centre, which offers a wide range of thalasso therapy treatments (pay locally). The treatment centre is located behind the hotel and is accessible by shuttle bus, which operates every 15 minutes. The Sheraton Soma Bay main buffet restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, while an Italian speciality restaurant serves dinner and a beach restaurant serves lunch. For refreshments, there is a pool bar, a terrace bar, a beach bar and disco bar and a beach hut with fresh juices. |
