EL QUESIR DIVING

With access to many excellent dive sites, diving from El Quesir is very rewarding for both the novice and experienced diver. There is great variety from sheer drop offs, pinnacles, to expansive hard and soft coral gardens offering the opportunity to see a multitude of colourful sea life including crocodile fish, lionfish, blue spotted stingrays and occasionally sharks. For the more experienced it may also be possible to visit the famous Elphinstone Reef.

Ducks Dive Centre, Mangrove Bay The friendly, welcoming dive centre offers PADI, CMAS & SSI courses as well as dive packages. They have a spectacular house reef in front of the hotel perfect for underwater photographers who need time to get that perfect shot. They also have a fleet of boats that can take you to various sites along the 20 km reef which runs north and south of the hotel. The area is a kaleidoscope of fish and magnificent coral growth. If you are an experienced diver you may have the opportunity to embark on one of their over-night safaris to Elphinstone Reef. |

Marina Divers, Flamenco Beach Resort A PADI Gold Palm Instructor Development Centre, Marina Divers offers a variety of courses and dive packages. A house reef covered with coral and inhabited by a great number of fish accessed from a jetty directly in front of the dive centre. Shore diving is also offered at a variety of sites to the north and south of the hotel as well as full day trips to Marsa Alam and Safaga sites. |

Subex, Movenpick El Quesir This efficient Swiss run dive centre offers training for novices (recognised by CMAS & SSI) as well as a variety of dive packages from buddy diving on the wonderful house reef to day boat trips and jeep safaris.
