Diving The diverse multitude of reefs, walls and wrecks, together with an abundance of marine life mean that Hurghada has become a true diver's haven. The reef of Abu Nuhas has claimed more ships than any other in the Red Sea as it is so close to the busy shipping lane of the Golf of Suez. This is fantastic for keen wreck divers who want to step back in history and explore these fascinating structures now claimed by nature herself. As Hurghada covers a large area we use different dive centres depending on where you are staying. El Gouna is also a real diver's destination whether you are brand new to the sport or a veteran of the under-water world. The resort has easy boat access to high quality reefs and wall dives such as Umm Gamar and Blind Reef. Divers are frequently accompanied by schools of wild dolphins and other intriguing marine life. From here you can also reach the famous ships graveyard of Abu Nuhas during a standard day trip and the SS Thistlegorm is only 2.5 hours away making El Gouna also a popular choice for wreck enthusiasts.
