Villa Degli Ulivi is located in Castellammare del Golfo's region that overhangs the bay of Cala Bianca. The main house is two-stories; on the ground floor there is a wide living-dining area full of light from the windows. The decoration enhances the cosy atmosphere and the antique furniture gives rise to a sophisticated and elegant ambiance. The fire place adds to all of this.
There is a well equipped kitchen decorated with hand-painted majolica reproductions of the 'agreste' Sicilian style. A glass door connects the kitchen with an external barbeque equipped with oven, sink and a wood-kiln. All of which is great to prepare traditional Sicilian dishes. Also on the ground floor there is a bedroom with one French bed, a bathroom with a shower and a laundry room.
Most of the rooms are facing the large veranda, which is a perfectly balanced place to relax as it has been built in tandem with its surroundings to a T!
A staircase in the living room leads to thebedrooms on the upper floor. The main bedroom has a queen bed with a beautiful upholstered headboard, tiled floors, antique beside tables and spectacular views of Cala Bianca.All of which create a joyful, romantic and warm atmosphere. There is another bedroom with a queen size bed where furnishings are simple but delicate. The third bed room also has a queen size bed with a little terrace where it is possible to have breakfast and enjoy the splendid views. There is also another bathroom with a tub.
The villa is immersed in a park of Mediterranean plants such as palms and olive trees all carefully spread along the path to the swimming pool which is reserved exclusively for guests.
The nice position of Villa Degli Ulivi gives the possibility to visit different sightseeing and archeological sights such as Palermo, Castellamare del Golfo, Scopello, Segesta, Erice, Selinunte, Marsala and Agrigento. The nature reserve park Lo Zingaro with its marvellous bays and Mediterranean vegetation is located 3km away. The crystal sea in this area is simply spectacular and is fabulous to practice various water sports such as swimming, diving and sailing. The villa is about 50km from Palermo's International Airport and about 45km from Trapani airport.
