Villa Lo Zingaro is the ideal place for those who love diving into unpolluted nature. This typical name was given to the villa since it lies in the territory of the protected natural reserve dello Zingaro in Scopello. The night lights of the Rocca di Scopello and the beautiful bay of Castellammare certainly delight the guest's eyes.
Built in full respect of the surrounding territory, it integrates with the territory itself and yet it shows sober elegance. Surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation with olive and carob trees, Villa Lo Zingaro has a garden and a large verandah to enjoy the panoramic sight of the Sicilian coast as far as Punta Raisi, not to mention the beauty of the magnificent sea stacks in Scopello The verandah gives access to the swimming pool which is surrounded by olive trees. Both the outside and the inside of the villa offer a high level type of accommodation.
The living room has a wall in local stone with shelves and a wood-burning stove has the fascination of things from the past. The furniture is sober but elegant and their colours are typical of the material chosen to make them. The kitchen is part of the living room and large windows overlook the garden underneath. The dining area is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with household appliances and whatever needed for cooking.
From the kitchen you have access to a larder and to a laundry which can be used as a toilet as well. A corridor leads to the night area with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Five of the rooms are double and one is a twin. All rooms have air conditioners, sat plasma TV and some are decorated with hand painted majolica which you can find in other rooms as well. The bathrooms are also original both is structure and in shape and all have showers. The villa has another room which can be used - on request - for the staff.
What essentially characterizes Villa Lo Zingaro, apart from the refinement of its inside, is certainly its location, 1km from the beautiful sea in the natural reserve dello Zingaro where nature has provided EVERYTHING ! Its location is ideal to reach several sites of tourist and archaeological importance like Palermo, Castellammare del Golfo (10 km), Scopello (1.5 km), Segesta, Erice, Selinunte, Marsala, Agrigento.
The villa is 45 km from Palermo airport and 45 km from Trapani airport.
Guests are assisted 24 hours a day.
