ISTANBUL

The expanding of Metropolis of Istanbul spreads along the Bosphorus to the north, and is built on a peninsula bounded on the east by the natural harbour known as the Golden Horn, where Old City stands with its magnificent sites.

As the former capital of Empire that spanned from Algeria to Iraq and from Arabia to Hungary, Istanbul is home to a huge and diverse collection of treasures. Some, from musical instruments to priceless jewels, are housed in the beautiful former imperial palaces of the Ottoman sultans, which are worth visiting for their architecture and opulent interiors.

There are more than 100 places worth visiting in the Old City of Istanbul, which covers the sight of the neighbourhood, ranging from mosques, churches, synagogues, palaces, museums, bazaars, Turkish baths & parks.

Istanbul also offers grand sea adventures; you can take the ferry across the Bosphorus from European to the Asian coast or you can sail up to the Sea of Marmara to the pedestrianised peace of the Princess Islands.
