A delightful cottage with pool in the grounds of a resident English couple's villa. High in the hills with distant vistas of Tuscany mountains and charming local views of the Minima valley which runs into the upper Tiber valley a few miles to the east. Ca' de Bondanza is for a couple. Wonderfully relaxing and private place with three acres of fenced grounds. There are friendly pet dogs. The ground floor is an open plan kitchen/living room with a door to a covered terrace. The kitchen has gas cooking hobs, fridge, and a combined microwave/convection oven. (A washing machine is in a separate small building.) Above is a double bedroom (two joined beds) with a shower room en suite. French windows open on to a private terrace. The cottage is next to the solar heated pool (10x5 metres) with wide terracing. The pool has splendid views and its wide terracing is supplied with shade and sun loungers in season. Cà de Bondanza is ten minutes from Trestina in the upper Tiber valley where there are restaurants, with many in nearby smaller villages. The English owners have lived there for many years and can advise on all aspects of your stay, and will also supply fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden in season. They also give a generous welcome pack. This is a strictly no smoking house. Weekly prices 2009
