A 3/4 bedroom house that sleeps 5/7- with pool in village location. The village of Pergo is below the medieval city of Cortona (about five minutes away). This house is in a quiet close off the road through the village next to open farmland. There are two others in the close but each is private to itself with spacious gardens and no walls. This house is surrounded by lawn and is very private. It is finished to a high standard as you would expect of a house that was built and furnished for a prosperous Italian family. It has three bedrooms (one double, one with two single beds and a single) on the ground floor plus an upstairs sitting/TV room with a sofa bed which could be used exclusively as a bedroom. There are bathrooms on both floors; one has a tub, the other a shower. It has a modern fitted kitchen, dining room, sitting room. The pool is an overground pool but landscaped into a sloping site so that its terrace or deck is level with the pool. It is 10 x 4 metres. Within walking distance in the small village are an excellent general store, a cafe, and a high class restaurant. The house is well placed for touring Tuscany and is only ten minutes from a main line rail station.
