Teverina BassaSant'Anna Farm Sant' Anna is a quality development made from an old farmhouse and associated buildings in the grounds of an eighteenth century mansion, the home of the owner. It is near Cortona. Monte Egidio and Cortona provide the main view from the garden. It has an extensive lawned garden with flower beds and lemon trees. The pool is fifty feet long and elegantly made with plenty of sun loungers etc. All the rented properties are grouped together using three sides of a square. Each has its own space with its own garden furniture. We have exclusive renting rights on: House 5 - You enter a pleasant sitting room with sofa-bed and chairs, leading into a spacious kitchen with dining table. Stairs lead to a bathroom, a double bedroom and bedroom with two single beds that can be made up as one if required. All newly re-furbished and decorated this year, and all windows are netted. Sant' Anna is well placed for seeing Tuscany south of Florence; Siena, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Cortona, San Sepulcro (Piero Della Francesca); and the north of Umbria. Also Lake Trasimeno (ferries to islands, beaches, water sports), Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Castiglione del Lago, Spoleto, Spello and Todi. The station at Terontola has regular trains to Florence and Rome as well as Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto and Arezzo. Italian trains are excellent and inexpensive. Booking deposit is £200 per week and the rest six weeks before rental. Heating if needed is an extra charge paid to the owner.
