Diving
Madang is the prime location from which to access the remote outer islands
and reefs in the region. These reefs are rarely visited by divers and
provide superb visibility and prolific marine life including barracuda,
mantas, turtles and reef sharks. Dives comprise a mixture of spectacular
drop offs, drift dives and remarkably intact wrecks including World War
II American and Japanese fighter planes and merchant ships. 4, 7 and 10
