BAHAMAS - Blackbeard’s Cruises

Offering live aboard diving adventures to the Out Islands of the Bahamas. Reef, wreck, wall, drift, night and shark dives are offered on each trip. The fleet comprises of 3 sailboats; Sea Explorer, Morning Star and Pirate's Lady. The boats sail from Freeport, Grand Bahama each Saturday for weeklong trips to the Biminis, Grand Bahamas, Berries, Andros, Cay Sal Banks, or Nassau areas. Once the hideout of pirates and privateers, these islands offer spectacular diving in warm, crystal clear waters with deserted beaches as backdrop.

There is no set itinerary- the captain will vary the itinerary to take advantage of the best weather and diving conditions. Liveaboards offer the best variety of diving available- visit the famous Road to Atlantis, dive with sharks at Bull Run, watch eagle rays gracefully glide by, or shoot photos of all the great macro and micro shots you'll see in the gin clear waters of the Bahamas.
Non-divers can enjoy swimming, sun tanning, beach combing, fishing, snorkelling and just plain relaxing.

The 65’ sailboats are fully Coast Guard approved and certified to carry 22 passengers.
6 crew members are there to make your trip as enjoyable as possible.
Singles and couples are accommodated in 4 air-conditioned cabin areas. Berths are single upper and lower, or double upper and lower, each with its own privacy curtain similar to a sleeperette on a train. The boats do not have private accommodations. Many of their customers describe it as camping at sea. All berths are 74" in length.
The boats also consist of 3 heads/toilet facilities, 1 fresh shower, main salon for dining (all meals served buffet style) and storage space for all scuba equipment (situated on the topside of the boats).

BAHAMAS - Aqua Cat

Aqua Cat offers leisurely liveaboard scuba diving and snorkelling adventures. The 102' catamaran operates weekly trips departing Saturdays from Nassau to the Exuma Islands.

No crowds, no set itineraries, nothing to do but sit back, relax and choose from an incredible variety of activities. If you aren't a certified scuba diver, the Aqua Cat offers full certification scuba diving courses. Photographers will find underwater life in the Exumas some of the most prolific and varied of any coral reef in the world. Aqua Cat enables you to scuba dive remote walls, wrecks, and coral reefs with sharks.
Let Aqua Cat be your floating resort with captain and crew at your service. With bar, meals, scuba diving and water sports included in the price, Aqua Cat is comparably priced to a Caribbean luxury cruise or resort vacation, only the service is much more personal. Nitrox and E-6 processing are available.

The Aqua Cat offers many activities besides scuba diving. You will have a great time exploring the 200 mostly uninhabited islands with their many beautiful beaches in the northern Exumas. The Aqua Cat has a 28’ launch that can take you to isolated beaches where you can sunbathe, explore, kayak, snorkel or fish. You will enjoy feeding and photographing the iguanas on Allan’s Cay. You can visit the headquarters of the Exumas Land & Sea Park on Warderick Wells and explore the many trails. You can also kayak the creeks that meander through Shroud Cay. These creeks are nurseries for many varieties of fish and sharks. For those interested in bird watching, the Exumas are a nesting area for many species of seabirds including White-Tailed Tropicbirds, Audubon Shearwaters, Brown Noddies, and Bridled and Sooty Terns.

The catamaran offers luxury accommodations, a spacious main salon and an extremely smooth ride. Her ability to cruise at a speed of 14-knots will get you to dive sites quickly while her 35-ft beam will ensure a smooth ride. The eleven passenger cabins (all en-suite with air-con) are some of the largest of any liveaboard in the world.
