River Lodge – 5 Star
A spacious family-friendly lodge complete with two pools, a gym and an indulgent spa for the ultimate in luxury.
Although home to only 20 rooms and suites, the River Lodge is the largest at Lion Sands. Here, the staff very much appreciate their spectacular surrounds, with every aspect of the lodge designed to capture the spirit of the Sabie River, and the focus on ensuring that each guest gets to experience as much of the wildlife as they like.

With a host of amenities, you can relax on the river deck, take a dip in one of the lodge’s two pools, take a stroll on the private walkway or head to the gym and spa. Dining is an affair to remember, with the passionate culinary team creating superb dishes that feature a fusion of flavours made from only the finest local produce.
There is a range of accommodation options on offer here. Each of the 12 thatched Luxury Rooms features an en suite, mini bar and outdoor wooden deck. Larger in size, the six Superior Luxury Suites offer additional space, open-plan bathrooms and outdoor showers. Four of the six suites interconnect, making them perfect for families.

For the ultimate luxury, the lodge’s two River Suites offer the same features as the Superior Luxury Suites but are set away from the public areas, making them much more private. They also have expansive river decks to take advantage of their breathtaking river views.

Ivory Lodge – 5 Star
Considered the finest accommodation in Lion Sands, Ivory Lodge is secluded, private and intimate, offering a truly personal experience..
Featuring just six suites, the emphasis of this tranquil lodge is on personalised service and immersing you in its breathtaking surrounds. Although labelled as suites, the accommodation at Ivory Lodge is more akin to private villas. Each one features a rim flow plunge pool, open plan lounge and dining area, large bathroom with a bathtub and outdoor shower, wooden viewing deck, maxi bar and fireplace.

Located just upstream from the main River Lodge on the banks of the Sabie River, Ivory Lodge offers a sophisticated and exclusive ambience with a stunning river frontage, lounge, bar and wine cellar. Guests can also enjoy access to the facilities at River Lodge, whilst being able to retreat to their secluded suite for privacy.
Meal times here are fine yet unpretentious affairs, with breakfast served on the deck as the bush comes to life, and dinner enjoyed by candlelight beneath a canopy of stars and accompanied by the whoop of the hyena and bark of the baboon.

With a maximum of just 12 guests, this is Lion Sands’ smallest lodge, with each beautiful suite assigned a butler, offering an intimate, personalised and truly indulgent experience.

Tinga Lodge – 5 Star
A bold yet luxurious lodge found on the banks of the Sabie River in the iconic Kruger National Park.

Featuring nine spacious suites, Tinga Lodge presents an intimate and friendly safari home. Located on a private concession within Kruger National Park, this superb lodge offers the perfect opportunity to spot the region’s most breathtaking wildlife, with access to both this world-renowned national park as well as the quieter grounds of Lions Sand’s Sabi Sands Game Reserve.

Surrounded by the wild African bush, you’ll be transported back to a time when decadent safaris were the height of indulgence. Far away from the everyday, you’re assured of a stay that is simultaneously thrilling and immersively relaxing.

Overlooking the Sabie River, each of the vast, expansive suites features a lounge, mini bar, bath tub, outdoor shower and covered wooden viewing decks from which to spot the wildlife while enjoying some down time. You’ll even enjoy the luxury of your own private plunge pool.

Remote, beautiful and capturing the essence of the African bush, this idyllic lodge offers a range of facilities, including a central swimming pool and fire-side lounge. Housing a maximum of 18 guests, you couldn’t ask for a more intimate safari setting.

Narina Lodge – 5 Star
Indulgent luxury in a tree-top setting promises an indulgent and peaceful stay to complement the excitement of game drives.
Settled beneath a 100-year-old canopy of trees overlooking the beautiful Sabie River, the style of Narina Lodge echoes that of a luxurious treehouse, with the nine private suites that it houses accessible by raised wooden walkways. Wandering from your suite to the main building is a wildlife-spotting adventure in itself, with the height offering a superb opportunity to spot the abundant bird life of the area.

Affording privacy and luxury, each of these luxurious suites offers a spectacular view that can be enjoyed from your outdoor deck. Complete with their own private plunge pool, you’ll feel truly indulged from the moment you arrive, with sweeping views of the river stretching out before you from every angle. You can even take in the stunning sight from the comfort of your bathtub.

The evenings are lit by the warm glow of candlelight emanating from the comfortable wooden deck where you can relax as you enjoy a glass of Champagne and appreciate the wonder of your wild surrounds, listening to the sounds of the bush.
