Ceylon Tea Trails - Sri Lanka

Close to Hatton, in the Ceylon tea region of central Sri Lanka, Ceylon Tea Trails consists of five beautiful colonial-era bungalows, which were former homes of the tea planters of old. Restored with elegance and thought, they boast stunning views of the surrounding emerald tea fields.

Accommodation

Just 26 rooms and suites are set within Norwood, Tientsin, Castlereagh, Summerville and Dunkeld Bungalows and located either around the serene lake or in the rolling hills of the lush green tea fields. Each bungalow has its own unique décor and ambience, together with dedicated butler service, a private swimming pool and comfortable sitting areas, decks and lawns, perfect for a relaxed afternoon tea. We particularly like Castlereagh Bungalow for its wonderful location close to the water and picture-perfect sunsets, but you can’t go wrong wherever you stay here, with all rooms and suites featuring a four poster bed, and bathroom with double vanities, a bath and rain shower. Garden and Master Suites additionally include a private garden, while Master Suites also have a separate living room.

Restaurants And Bars

Start the day with tea brought to your bedroom by your butler before an English or Sri Lankan breakfast. Delicious Sri Lankan delicacies are prepared for lunch, afternoon tea can be enjoyed in the gardens, and four-course dinners utilise fresh vegetables and herbs from local estates.
